The Town of Pendleton is very excited to announce that Arbor Day Foundation has named the Town a Tree City USA for the 14th year! The Town is honored to be recognized for making urban forestry and tree care management a community priority. In 2023, the Town of Pendleton has invested $40.30 per capita in tree care management, trimmed 421 trees, removed 153 endangered trees, planted 87 new trees and devoted over 275 in volunteer hours. A HUGE thanks goes to the Pendleton Urban Forestry Committee, Town Council, Town Electric, Street, Water & Park Departments, Plant Growth Management, Davey Resource Group, Pendleton Elementary School and our community members for making this possible.
